Over 30 years ago, I began my work history at the Airport Area YMCA because I needed a summer job after high school and I had a couple of friends who there. I worked with the Y, at various locations, through college and up until the time my first child was born. I detoured out of Y employment, but continued my engagement as a volunteer and program parent. I now have the privilege of being the Executive Director of the Airport Area YMCA back where I started! The Y has helped to shape me into the servant leader that I am, and I continue to be amazed at the work the Y continues to do in the community. We feed the hungry, help improve literacy rates in youth, build leaders and help the sick and elderly stay active through programs and classes.
Please join me and help us build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. Make a gift to today and support the Airport Area YMCA!
